Our Mission

Our mission is to serve our
underprivileged children, adults and senior citizens by mutual cooperation, training, education and advocacy, and to promote a wholesome lifestyle based on a quality service-oriented philosophy that develops teamwork and leadership in our people and which will empower them with a sustainable advantage in our ever-changing and competitive society.

Our Goals
Davidson Community Center's Inc. primary goal is to improve the quality of life through the design and implementation of programs that:

1) Enhance the delivery of social services particularly to children and the elderly.

2) Enhance the educational and development opportunities for youth.

3) Build community capacity.

Davidson Community Center, Inc., is a 501(c) 3 tax-exempt organization that offers a variety of program services which include:
educational tutoring, cultural enrichment, advocacy and other social programs.

Our program structure emphasizes the value of a quality education, teamwork, discipline and personal achievement. DCC
has created linkages with health centers and mental health clinics, and various institutions.

Our Home

The Davidson Community Center Inc., founded in 1965, is a non-profit community-based organization with a history of
cooperative programming serving children, families and
seniors throughout the Northwest Bronx.

Our programs are designed to empower the community
through education, training and advocacy by working together with community leaders, residents, youth, business owners, police, municipal workers and civic groups.
We believe that essential skills, training and education are
crucial tools for a thriving community. In addition to
program services, we have partnered with local clinics,
mental health centers, local merchants and other resources
also available to community residents.
